General Rules & Student Conduct

• All students must be present in the school on the opening day after each vacation.
• Regular attendance is mandatory. Absence for fifteen consecutive days during the school year or three consecutive days at the beginning of the academic year may lead to dismissal.
• To obtain admittance into the classroom after absence or late arrival, a signed permission from the Principal is essential.
• At the time of school assembly, all students must queue up at the first bell. After the assembly, students should disperse in silence to their classrooms.
• Books not related to the school curriculum should not be brought to school.
• Any destruction or loss of school property will not be tolerated. Accidental damages must be compensated by the student responsible.
• The school is not responsible for lost goods. Bringing valuables to school is discouraged.
• Students suffering from infectious diseases must not attend classes. A medical certificate must be produced upon recovery.
• No visitors are allowed to meet students during school hours. In urgent cases, messages will be conveyed appropriately.
• Students seeking exemption from PT or games must produce a physician’s certificate along with a written application from the parents.
• Students must maintain cleanliness and tidiness and wear the proper school uniform.
• Students must come to class with lessons well-prepared and homework completed.
• The school diary must be brought to school daily.
• Running, playing, or shouting inside the school building is strictly forbidden.
• Students must move in silence and in a single queue when changing classrooms, keeping to the left side where possible.
• Students should not throw waste anywhere except in the bins provided, especially fruit peels and wrappers.
• No student should remain in the classroom during PT or games period without Principal’s permission.
• Students are responsible for their conduct inside and outside the school. Misconduct outside the school premises may result in disciplinary action.
• Students are not allowed to enter classrooms other than their own.
• Any article found on the school premises must be handed over to the school office.
• As the medium of instruction is English, all students are expected to converse in English within school premises.
• Students must not scribble, write, or scratch on walls, desks, or furniture.
• Students should bring their tiffin daily. If a student forgets for three consecutive days, parents may be called to explain.
• Permission from the Principal is required for the following:
  • (a) To make any monetary collection for any purpose.
  • (b) To arrange a party, picnic, or meeting.
  • (c) To join or participate in a sports event not organized by the school.
  • (d) To offer presents to teachers or organize demonstrations in their favor.
  • (e) To take private tuitions from school teachers.
